Welcome to the Sun Safe Schools educational resource bank. All our resources have been bespoke designed by Skcin to offer the most comprehensive range of fun and engaging, curriculum linked learning for primary school children of all ages and abilities - all in one place and at your fingertips! Our mission is to develop children’s understanding of the benefits and dangers of the sun, to influence behaviours and encourage the development of healthy lifestyle choices.
Under the new PHSE curriculum, English Primary schools now have a statutory obligation to teach children about safe and unsafe exposure to the sun and how to reduce the risk of sun damage including skin cancer. Our commitment is to make this enjoyable and effective for both children and teachers, with maximum impact on learning outcomes and minimum impact on valuable time and resources.
All educational resources are the strict copyright of Skcin, and should only be used by primary schools undertaking their accreditation process. They should not be copied, altered or shared with any third party outside of your school setting. Thank you.
